NDA? You need a PDA!
In venture capital, a common question is whether or not to share a deck or initial presentation without the other party signing an NDA — a Non-Disclosure Agreement.
INVESTORS WON’T DO THIS. We hear thousands of first pitches, often with similar companies. Signing NDAs at this level would be impossible for a VC to function.
Your first encounter should not reveal details that concern you if they are shared.
In fact, you need a PDA!
PDA — Please Disclose Agreement
Create an introduction to your company that everyone is excited to share.
Write in the footer: “Please feel free to share this pack with anyone you think would be excited to join our mission.”
That’s it. You’re done.
